SystExt is a French NGO that unites geology, mining and environmental engineers working at the national and international scale. They are all concerned about the mining industry and aim to use their knowledge to tackle its technical issues. On 15th September last year, SystExt and another French NGO, France Nature Environnement (FNE), left together the “Responsible Mining” working group, initiative started in March 2015 by the French Ministry of Economy and Finance [1]. We take a moment here to give details of our participation and stances.

SystExt es una ONG francesa que agrupa ingenieros geólogos, mineros, en medio ambiente con experiencia nacional e internacional, con un interés común por la industria minera y conocimientos para trabajar en las problemáticas técnicas vinculadas a esta actividad. El pasado 15 de septiembre, SystExt y otra ONG francesa, France Nature Environnement (FNE), abandonaron conjuntamente el grupo de trabajo sobre la "Mina Responsable", una iniciativa lanzada por la Secretaría de Economía del gobierno francés en marzo del 2015.
